Friendly reminder that the reason you feel so much better is because of your meds, don’t stop taking them unless you talk to your doctor first, you really do need them, I promise.
Around June I stopped taking my eye medication because I hadn’t had a problem with my eyes in months. I got really lazy about doing it; then I stopped them altogether.
Turns out, the reason I stopped having problems with my eyes was because I was religiously taking my medication. Whodathunk. Now I have to work to get back to the place I was before I decided I was “better” (I wasn’t!).
If you thought this post was just about anti-depressants or lithium, it could be! For me, this post is about eyedrops, for you it might be about antibiotics, or it might be about zoloft. Whatever it is, please consider talking to your doctor before making a sudden shift to stop taking it. It’s not bad to be on medication. It’s not bad to need it.
…and on a related note, do not let anyone tell you that because you start feeling worse if you don’t take your medication, that means you’re “addicted”. That is not how addiction works.

I want to say something. First of all, I’m not saying this just because I have always loved Olivia Wilde but because I work (or try to, at least) in the film industry myself.
I don’t think people realize how many people work in a audiovisual production, they don’t realize how many people is needed, and they don’t realize how EXHAUSTING working in it is. People assume it is a fun job, which it is, but it is also tough, tiring, and demanding.
Schedules get delayed, you have to shoot FOR HOURS non stop, your body starts to get sore, you barely sleep and you can work under the extreme cold or heat…
And people also don’t realize that the money earned doesn’t only go to the director but also to every single person who worked in the movie. You have the first assistant, the second assistant, the photography director, the camera person, the camera first and second assistant, the gaffer, the electrics, the grips, the sound director, the sound mixer, the actors, the extras, script supervisor, the producer, the producer assistant, the muah, the people who work in clothes, make up and scenography, props, double stunts, editors, people who correct colour, and I could go on and on and on.
So please realize that despite what you may think about Olivia it’s only natural she wants the movie to earn as much money as possible because
A) Of course she doesn’t want to movie to flop/loss money
B) She’s working like any other person (and so is the crew)
C) If the movie does bad it is not just her to gets affected but the whole fucking crew who worked restlessly.
By popular request, I have now tried a “happy” comic. A new character is also introduced. But I don’t know yet if this one will appear again.
It was a lot of fun to draw this comic, but I think the heartbreaking stories are more my style
